ART-TALKERS SPEECH CONTEST, December 8, 2007

I don’t know exactly whether the contestants slept at night, but that morning all of them were excited and nervous. Why? Because there were five of them and, it goes without saying, each deserved victory. Who are the participants of the contest? Nataliya Govda with her speech “How to feel when to stop playing my role?”, Iryna Zhurakovska – “Unforgettable strangers”, Konstantin Orekhov – “The criteria of truth’, Liliya Khalikova – “Red Riding Hood forever!”, Victor Fursov – “The importance of being earnest”. The ceremony of the competition was traditional for Toastmasters Clubs. The officers’ team thoroughly prepared for the annual contest: agendas were printed, judges were invited, certificates were designed…
The atmosphere in the room was friendly. Members, guests and even judges felt sympathy to the speakers, who showed their creativity, experience in English, vocal variety, body language and not only… Meet the winners: 1st place – Liliya Khalikova, 2nd place – Nataliya Govda. They will defend our Club at All-Ukrainian speech contest in 2008.
